RVA youth will once again be visiting the Serpent River First Nation to help run a DOXA camp this summer. This year Cricket, Kamal, Damien, Sarah, Brianna, Jaidon, Elizabeth, and Stephan will be going on the trip!

For the last couple years, we had a fundraiser called Jazz Night, but we decided to change things up. Since this year is marking the 10th anniversary of Youth Unlimited and Doxa Daystar going up to First Nation, we will be holding a special event called the Doxa Daystar Culutural Festival.

This event will be hosted here at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Scarborough on July 13 from 1:45PM to 8:00PM. There will be two parts to this event. The first will be the Kairos Blanket Exercise (interactive game) held from 1:45 – 5PM. This portion of the event will cost $25 and will only have a total of 100 spots to reserve. Space is limited, please reserve with us as soon as possible.

The second portion includes a community dinner, continued cultural learning, Indigenous music, and hearing from members of our team. This portion will take place from 5:30-8:00PM and will cost $20. If you wish to go to both portions it will cost you $35 in total. Space is limited so reserve your spots now.
