A big “Miigwech” to you all for your generous support (in so many ways!) of our clothing “drive” for Pikangikum this year. Please pass on the thank-you of our Pikangikum Working Group and those of the Pikangikum community, for the wonderful gifts you and friends/parishioners/girl guides provided them this week. 

We were able to drive the truckload up last week to Red Lake (21hrs, with weather cooperating for most of the way) and the OPP delivered from there to the community this week (thanks Chris!):

…and under the supervision of the local missionary Colleen and community women, clothing was distributed yesterday….

 

As you can see from the smiles, greatly appreciated and I’m sure will be treasured.
