Construction at St Andrew’s

You may have noticed some scaffolding and construction equipment at St Andrew's over the last few weeks!

The scaffolding (left) is being used to replace old rotting windows. The new windows are also made of wood, as per the historical society. The accuracy and craftsmanship are excellent!

The construction is for the installation of much-needed air conditioning in both the sanctuary and the C.E. hall. The middle photo shows two of the four heat pump units for the C.E. Hall. The photo on the right is one of the compressor units for the church.

Heat pumps and air conditioners both cool your home using similar technology, but heat pumps offer the additional benefit of heating, making them a more versatile option for year-round comfort. While heat pumps generally have a higher upfront cost, their ability to both heat and cool can lead to long-term energy savings and potentially lower utility bills.  Usually five to seven years.

The scheduled completion date is July 7th.
