2020 Camp Report and Photos!

Like leaves carried by a swirling wind the sounds of joy and laughter are heard from the front, side and manse lawns.

There are colourful clusters of children and leaders from our three day camp cohorts at St. Andrew’s.  This has been a unique year.  The requirements due to COVID include an online survey of each child filled out daily, temperature checks, staff and volunteers wearing masks all day long, and many other small challenges.  Inside volunteers buzz about sanitizing, bringing water and snacks to kids as they support the work done at camp.

The trials have forced us to be creative and in that creativity God has produced opportunities for growth in everyone present.

Just a couple of days ago one of the children in attendance decided to that she wanted to become a follower of Jesus; in the afternoon our staff brainstormed together about how to best help her take her next steps of faith.

Thank you all for your support and prayers for DOXA Day Camp this year.  With every challenge God has been so good that I am confident in saying that this has been our best year yet!

Here are some pictures from Camp!  (Thanks to Alain and Kirushanthan for their write-up and photos!)
