Thank Offering Service
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Women are pleased to announce that Ms. Tori Smit will be our guest speaker at the services on Sunday October 20th 2013. Tori is a Christian Education Consultant within The Presbyterian Church of Canada.
She is a very vibrant, passionate and energetic speaker. We do not know what her topic will be (will post it as soon as possible) but do feel you will enjoy listening and learning from Tori’s experiences and knowledge. We hope you will be able to attend at 9:00am or 11:00 am to hear Tori speak, and all other Presbyterian Women who will be participating in the service. The offering from those services will support the mission work of the Presbyterian Women.
Knox College Student
St. Andrew’s has been asked to provide a field education experience for a Knox College student during the upcoming academic year. Monica McClure, a student from our Presbytery, will be with us from September to April. Part of our responsibility is to provide a Lay Advisory Committee, a group that will provide both constructive feedback and support to Monica throughout her time with us. If you would be interested in being part of this group, or would like to find out more, please speak to Duncan.
