Quintessence Handbell Ensemble Concert: Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 7:30 pm

Melville Presbyterian Church, 70 Old Kingston Road, Scarborough.
An English Handbell concert featuring Quintessence Handbell Ensemble who will entertain you musically and visually with quartet, trio, and solo ringing of a variety of genres, classical and contemporary, known, and original. There will be a freewill offering and a silent auction. All funds raised will go to Krystianna’s Canter for a Cure — seeking a cure for neuroblastoma, a type of childhood cancer.

Krystianna was a plucky little girl diagnosed with neuroblastoma when she was very small. Sadly, Krystianna died in 2009 at the age of 13. One of the members of Quintessence is her aunt. Two members of St. Andrew’s are her grandparents. This fundraising concert is in honour of Krystianna.
