Welcome to our Bicentennial Year!  It isn’t often you get to celebrate an event that is centuries in the making, but this coming year is one of them for St. Andrew’s!  In August, 1817, William Jenkins, our first pastor, settled in the area and began his ministry to the settlers of Scarborough and Richmond Hill.  In September, 1818, the first elders of St. Andrew’s were ordained.  Either event could be considered “our beginning”.  We therefore have a whole year of events and celebrations planned to mark this milestone that only a handful of other Presbyterian churches in Canada have experienced.  As we give thanks for the faithfulness of God over so many years, we hope you will join us!
