Welcome to the 40-day journey of Lent, beginning February 10th and concluding with Easter Sunday on March 27th!

During this season of Lent, let us draw inspiration from Jesus’ pursuit of selfless love and compassion.  Let us draw courage from Jesus’ mission to bring the “shalom” of God to all peoples, culminating with his journey to Golgotha and his sacrifice on the cross.

Jesus poured out his life joyfully in relationship with others…among them the marginalized, the oppressed, the poor, the sick, and the prisoner. The depth of his love and compassion was shown to us all on Good Friday when he suffered for the sins of the whole world.

During the season of Lent, let us prepare our hearts as we hear again about Jesus’ final journey to Jerusalem, his suffering, and death and as we prepare to celebrate his resurrection on Easter Sunday!
